Regarding the Windows platform, when these types of issues occur, similar to Apple’s operating systems, it’s not too complicated. There are various ways, and this time we’ll be explaining two of them:

1. Several applications exist to solve this type of problem without losing any information:

• Austrumi Linux
• Hiren’s Boot
• Kon-Boot
• Trinity Rescue Kit

This time, we will use Hiren’s Boot to show you how to do it in a simple way. Just follow these steps, and in a few minutes, we’ll have our problem solved:

1. To boot choose Hiren’s Boot
2. Open HBCD Menu.
3. Choose a Program to Launch.
4. Choose the Windows Partition.
5. Choose the Username to Reset Password.
6. Save the Changes.
7. Exit NTPWEdit.

2. Using the command promt or Windows Terminal:

• Open an elevated command prompt

• Type net user account_name new_password
• Replace account_name with the account to reset
• Replace new_password with the new password
• Press Enter

To change a password, you can also type net user [username] [new password] and press Enter. For a more discreet option, you can type `net user [username} *» and press Enter. Then enter the new password twice. 

You must have administrative access to change a password using the Command Prompt. 

To remove a password from Windows 10, you can run the command netplwiz from the Start Menu or Command Prompt. In the User Accounts window that opens, untick the «Users must enter a username and password to use this computer» checkbox and then click «OK».
